Former PPCC chief Virendra Kataria dies at 88

NEW DELHI: Former Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry and former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Virendra Kataria passed away here on Tuesday evening.

New Delhi, March 5

Former Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry and former Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Virendra Kataria passed away here on Tuesday evening.  

He is survived by his son and a daughter, a senior officer in Punjab. 

Kataria, 88, breathed his last at the AIIMS where he was admitted for a surgery, his family told The Tribune.
