Shiv Sena leader injured in attack by inmates at Ropar jail

ROPAR: Shiv Sena leader Nishant Sharma was injured in an attack by the inmates in Ropar jail on Tuesday. Sharma was sent to jail on Monday in a cheating case.

Shiv Sena leader Nishant Sharma was injured in an attack by the inmates in Ropar jail on Tuesday.

Sharma was sent to jail on Monday after a Ropar court had awarded him four years’ imprisonment in a cheating case.

Ramandeep Singh, an accused in the killing of RSS leader Davinder Gosain, along with his two accomplices, reportedly attacked the Shiv Sena leader. Details are awaited.
