Sanskrit library inaugurated

NEW DELHI: The first of its kind Sanskrit Library in the country was inaugurated today in the office complex of Delhi Sanskrit Academy at Jhandiawalan by the Delhi government.



New Delhi, December 18

The first of its kind Sanskrit Library in the country was inaugurated today in the office complex of Delhi Sanskrit Academy at Jhandiawalan by the Delhi government. The scriptures and rare manuscripts in Sanskrit will be made available in this library for the benefit of students and Sanskrit scholars.

Art and Culture secretary  Geetanjali Gupta Kundra said the government is committed to provide all facilities to promote Sanskrit language in order to provide best pieces of literature to the Sanskrit scholars. 

The library has more than 50 cupboards and bookshelves and a huge reading hall. The double storey building is fully air conditioned. — TNS
