For moist and happy skin

With winter in its full bloom we enjoy many bounties of this lovely weather especially up north. But sometimes our skin may suffer due to the ravages of the low temperature. But why not enjoy the weather and look after our precious skin also? Few guidelines to play it safe this winter season.

Tips To Have A Skin-Friendly Winter

Bathing

  • Do not bath in hot water, preferably bath in warm water.
  • Limit your time in bath to 5 or 10 minutes maximum.
  • Use mild, fragrance-free body cleansers.

Moisturisation

  • After a bath, gently pat the skin with a towel and then apply moisturiser to the damp skin.
  • Apply moisturiser at least once a day or more often if needed.
  • Use fragrance-free moisturisers.

Skin Care

  • For best results, apply moisturiser twice daily. This prevents dryness and cracking.
  • Keep your fingernails short and smooth. This decreases the likelihood of scratching.
  • Keep temperature and humidity levels comfortable. Avoid extreme weather conditions.

Laundry

  • Use a laundry detergent made for sensitive skin.
  • Use recommended amount of detergent.
  • Use enough water for adequate rinsing.
  • Wash your new clothes before wearing.
