2 persons killed in Aut tunnel road accident in Mandi

Two persons were killed when a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a vehicle inside the Aut tunnel on Chandigarh-Manali highway, here on Tuesday morning.

According to police, both the victims had sustained serious injuries and died on the spot while the accused fled away.

The police personnel deployed at the tunnel informed the police at Mandi Sadar police station to hold a Naka at Bheuli to nab the culprits.

Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri said that the accused had been nabbed along with vehicle from the Naka.

Detailed information about the deceased and the accused is awaited, said the SP.
