Solan, April 7
As many as 5,000 farmers from Uttarakhand, Haryana and Punjab attended a kisan mahapanchayat organised by the local unit of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) at Haripur Tohana in Paonta Sahib subdivision of Sirmaur district today.
It was presided over by BKU spkesperson Rakesh Tikait.
Besides, Thoeg MLA Rakesh Singha and former Congress MLA from Paonta Sahib Kirnesh Jung, local SKM leaders, including Aninder Singh Naughty, Tapender Saini, Gurvinder Singh Gopi and Tarsem Singh, were also present.— TNS
