Dharamsala, February 21
A three-day workshop on ‘Team Participation for Better Results’ concluded at McLeodganj in Dharamsala today.
Senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers participated in the workshop, which was an initiative of the Union Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC).
The Himalayan Forest Research Institute steered the workshop. “The objective of the workshop was to explore how team coordination and collaboration can assist in enhancing the results. To make the workshop a learning experience, experts from management institutes, defence forces and the corporate gave their valuable inputs,” said Kuldeep Sharma, Conservator of Forests, Himalayan Forest Research Institute, Shimla.
The main objective of the workshop was to study team collaboration for better outcomes. Twenty-one participants from 14 states attended the brainstorming sessions to explore best practices and finer techniques in capacity building.
