Chandigarh, January 18

The Chandigarh Traffic Police today inaugurated 32nd National Road Safety Week-2021 on the theme, “Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha”, by organising a cyclothon at Sukhna Lake. To promote cycle tracks, the cyclist drove through cycle tracks.

Cops, 150 others take part in event

The cyclothon was flagged off by Omvir Singh, UT DIG, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Police officials, along with around 150 cyclists from Cycle Giri and other cycle groups, participated in the event.

A road safety pledge was also undertaken by the participants for obeying traffic rules and self-contribution towards making the roads safer.
