No death, 10 Covid cases in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The city on Tuesday reported 10 new cases of Covid-19 and no death. A total of 22 patients were discharged during the past 24 hours. TNS

No fatality, 4 test positive in P’kula

Panchkula: The district on Tuesday saw four new cases of Covid and no death. So far, 30,602 cases and 30,198 recoveries have been reported from the district. Meanwhile, 1,410 persons were vaccinated at 12 government and three private vaccination centres across the district and 747 of them were given the second dose of the Covid vaccine. A total of 662 persons in the 18-44 age group, 602 in the 45-59 age group and 130 above the age of 60 were administered the vaccine. A total of 3,18,961 doses have been given in the district so far and 70,495 persons have completed their vaccination schedule. — TNS

Mohali sees no death for 4th day

Mohali: For the fourth consecutive day, the district reported no death due to Covid. Meanwhile, 10 fresh cases surfaced till Tuesday while 31 patients recovered from the virus. Among the new cases, three each were reported from Mohali (urban), Dera Bassi and Kharar while one case surfaced in Kurali. — TNS
