BATHINDA: A talk was organised at the SSD Women’s Institute of Technology, Bathinda, on ‘Investment plans, tax saving schemes and digital literacy in the phase of demonetisation’.



A talk was organised at the SSD Women’s Institute of Technology, Bathinda, on ‘Investment plans, tax saving schemes and digital literacy in the phase of demonetisation’. Gourav Sharma and Geeta Bansal from the State Bank of Patiala; and Lokesh and Tarun from the State Bank of India addressed a gathering during an interactive session. The lecture was organised with the support of college president Somnath Baghla, secretary Ajay Gupta, principal Manisha Bhatnagar and staff members. 

Lohri celebrated

Students, along with the faculty members, of Guru Kashi University celebrated Lohri on the campus. The Women Club and Public Relation Department of the university organised the function with enthusiasm. Col BS Dhaliwal, Vice-Chancellor, GKU, was present as the chief guest. The VC congratulated the staff and students and advised them to spread the message to educate girl child. — TNS
