The state government has received Rs 42.07 crore for sewer lines and treatment plants in villages falling under the Panchkula Municipal Corporation.
The funds were provided under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), said MLA Gian Chand Gupta.
While addressing a press conference, Gupta said under AMRUT, sewer lines would be laid in Ramgarh, Toka, Khangesra, Jalouli, Naggal, Alipur, Khatouli, Kot and Saketri villages.
He said there would be nine treatment plants in Ramgarh, Billa, Kot, Khangesra, Sukhdarshanpur, Khatouli, Naggal, Kanguwala and Saketri villages.
These projects will be completed by the end of 2019, the legislator added.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar would lay the foundation stone of some of these projects in a few days, he said.
