Police have arrested accused Vaibhav Vyas, owner of the vehicle which hit two college students and a policeman in Delhi University campus on last morning. One of the students, Kapil Ratnu (20), was killed while the other one, Jagriti, and constable Mukesh were injured in the accident.

After the accident, the errant driver left the car and fled the spot. A case for causing death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving was been registered against him, the DCP said.

Police got a call around 10.40 am that a car had hit several people in Maurice Nagar after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
