ZIRAKPUR:A truck driver sustained serious injuries after he was allegedly thrown off the third floor of a building following an altercation with the owner of a dhaba here.

A truck driver sustained serious injuries after he was allegedly thrown off the third floor of a building following an altercation with the owner of a dhaba here.

The victim, Shamsher Singh, was rushed to the GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh, where his condition is stated to be critical.

Shamsher Singh alleged that he was having dinner at Punjabi Dhaba last night and asked for an onion from a dhaba worker. On asking for an onion for the second time, the owner of the dhaba and the worker started arguing with him. Soon, a fight broke out between them.

Later that night, the dhaba owner, along with two others, went to the place where Shamsher was staying.

They were allegedly carrying swords and daggers in their hands. Seeing them, Shamsher ran away and went to the third floor of the building from where he was allegedly thrown off by them.
