Mohali, January 7
Harsimran Kaur, a Class XII student of Mata Sahib Kaur Public Senior Secondary School, won a silver medal in the National Fencing Championship that concluded recently at Bhopal.
Harsimran participated in Saiber (team event) in the U-19 category. Mohali DEO Mewa Singh Sidhu and principal Ranjit Kaur felicitated Harsimran for her achievement.
Ranjit Kaur said the school management always encourages girls to take part in sports. — TNS
