Karnal, June 14
Office-bearers of units and sub-units of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam observed a daylong hunger strike here on Tuesday in protest against the state government’s decision to outsource maintenance of transmission lines of 23 subdivisions and the privatisation policy.
The protest was held under the banner of Haryana Joint Action Committee, Power.
