Products available at HAU Mart

Hisar: The products of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University will now also be available at HAU Mart. Chief Minister Manohar Lal had inaugurated the newly built, fully air-conditioned mart near the Golden Jubilee Gate of the university (Gate No. 4) recently. Vice-Chancellor KP Singh said many high quality products were being made at Haryana Agricultural University for consumers. People could purchase various food and beverages such as cakes, muffin, ‘bajra’, biscuits, bell squash, mango drinks, and ‘amla’ candies prepared by the university and farmers at the HAU Mart.  

DC inspects mid-day meal in Manesar  

Gurugram: Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri visited Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Manesar, and checked mid-day meal, toilets and security arrangements for girl students. He announced that CCTV cameras would be installed and barbed wires would be erected on the boundary walls of the school. DEO Prem Lata Yadav, BDPO Jagram Mann, Tehsildar Pradeep, and ACP Satyapal Yadav accompanied him.  

Karnal school to gift 1,000 saplings

Karnal: JoyLap, a play and pre-school, has decided to gift 1,000 plants to make Karnal city green. Mamta Bansal, director of the school, says that they have started a campaign to gift 1,000 saplings to as many persons who will plant them and also take care of them. “Our team members are coordinating with persons who are voluntarily coming forward to plant a sapling for their children near their homes,” she adds.  

32 varsity students get internship

Mahendragarh: As many as 32 students of Civil Engineering of the Central University of Haryana (CUH) will be doing internship in reputed institutes and companies such as Petrofac, DLF and Godrej Properties in Gurugram, DRDO and Larsen and Toubro (L&T) in Delhi and Nagaur and Adani Reality in Mumbai for 45 days, said Prof RC Kuhad, Vice-Chancellor of CUH.
