CHAMBA: Seven persons have been booked for allegedly felling 11 deodar trees at the Kihar police station in the Salooni subdivision of Chamba district.

Seven persons have been booked for allegedly felling 11 deodar trees at the Kihar police station in the Salooni subdivision of Chamba district. This was stated by Superintendent of Police, Chamba, Dr Virender Tomar in a press release issued here today.

The SP said on the complaint of Jamla beat forest guard Suraj Kumar, a case under Sections 41, 42 of the Forest Act and 379 of the IPC had been registered against these persons.
