NHS hospital here organised a marathon event, Run for Arthritis, on the occasion of World Arthritis Day.
The objective of the marathon was to brief people about the ills of the joint pain and ensure that people of the state were exposed to a healthier lifestyle.
More than 400 people signed up for the marathon Run for Arthritis .
Doctors said arthritis was one of those diseases that plagued and tormented the joints.
NHS ortho-robotics, a branch of the NHS hospital, have always taken an initiative to make people aware of the disease and treat the ones suffering from it.
It is an advanced centre for Robotic Orthopaedic Excellence at the hospital. Dr Shubhang Aggarwal, the region’s leading orthopaedic expert and joint replacement surgeon, lends his services at the centre.
