Travel agency staff booked for cheating

PHAGWARA: Three members of a travel company were booked for allegedly defrauding two NGO activists of Rs 7 lakh, police said on Thursday.

Three members of a travel company were booked for allegedly defrauding two NGO activists of Rs 7 lakh, police said on Thursday.They were identified as Bhagwant Sharma, Ashwani Kumar and Gaurav Goel, staffers of Oho Holidays Zirakpur, the police said.

All the three members were booked yesterday after the police received a complaint against them.The complainant told the police that he was supposed to participate in a conference of Lions Club in Chicago in America some time back and booked Oho travel company to make the arrangements.
