College organises short-term course

LUDHIANA: The Department of Computer Science of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, organised a three-week short term certificate course in "Graphics Design and Development".

Ludhiana, June 20

The Department of Computer Science of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, organised a three-week short term certificate course in "Graphics Design and Development". The course was organised as part of the Skill Development Programme of the college to give impetus to the students to hone their skills that can help them thrive in the competitive job market as well as instill entrepreneurial spirit in them.

The course was designed to help students acquire graphic designing skills to gain proficiency in applying their creativity to communicating ideas and concepts in both print and digital media. Intensive practical training was imparted to the students using the powerful adobe photoshop software package. As part of the course, the students were taught about the fundamentals of design theory, production process, document set-up and printing methods.
