Medical camp for women jail inmates

A team of diabetes-free world and Baba Budha ji Society organised a medical camp for women inmates in the Central Jail, Tajpur Road.

Apart from diabetes, hypertension, gynaecological problems, inmates had general complaints ranging from body aches, joint pains, anaemia and stress.

Today, around 130 inmates of women jail got free medical, gynae and dental check-up done during the 257th camp organised by a team led by Dr Surinder Gupta.

Dr Gupta said inmates apart from diabetes, hypertension, gynae problems, had general complaints ranging from body aches, joint pains, anaemia and stress-genic conditions. Those having dental ailments were attended and some procedures were done too.

Deworming pills were given to most of the patients to prevent nutritional and iron deficiency anaemia.
