Three Covid-19 deaths and 249 new cases were reported from Mohali district on Wednesday.

A 39-year-old man from Dera Bassi died of the virus at Shalby Hospital. He had diabetes and hypertension. A 75-year-old man from Kharar died at the PGI. He had hypertension. A 31-year-old man from Karkaur died at Mission Hospital, Ambala. Among the new cases, Mohali urban reported 69, Kharar 32, Gharuan 47, Dhakoli 46, Dera Bassi 20, Lalru nine, Boothgarh four, Kurali 11 and Banur nine. A total of 123 patients recovered from the virus on Wednesday. The fresh cases have taken Mohali’s tally to 7,374. There are 2,443 active cases now. As many as 4,783 have been cured of the disease. The district has seen 148 deaths. TNS
