Four Nepalese youths crushed to death in Haryana’s Sonepat

Panipat, January 28

Four Nepalese youths were crushed to death after a car hit them near the Mama-Bhanja Chowk in Sonepat on Saturday night.

Four persons, including three occupants of the car and a Nepalese youth, sustained injuries in the mishap.

The deceased have been identified as Amar, Dal Bahadur, Arjun and Kamal of Nepal, while the injured have been identified as Dil Bahadur of Nepal, Ritik of Jatwara, Arun and Mohit of Jainpur in Sonepat.

As per the available information, all five Nepalese youths were living in Sonepat on a rented accommodation and working as waiters. They were on their way to their room on cycles and a scooty when the accident took place around 12 am.

When they reached near the Mama-Bhanja Chowk, a speeding Eco-Sports car hit them and rammed into a wall there. The four — Amar, Dal Bahadur, Arjun and Kamal — died on the spot.

After getting information, the police immediately rushed to the spot and admitted the all four injured to the general hospital here. Doctors later referred them to the PGIMS, Rohtak.

Meanwhile, dead bodies have been sent for postmortem. The accident was captured by CCTV cameras installed nearby. The police have begun probe into the matter.
