70-year-old woman looted at knifepoint

A 70-year-old woman was looted at the knifepoint at her home in Greater Kailash Part-2.

A 70-year-old woman was looted at the knifepoint at her home in Greater Kailash Part-2. The incident took place in the afternoon of February 14, said a police official. Police have registered an FIR after the old woman’s family complained to the police. Based on the CCTV camera footage, police are trying to identify the robber.

It has come up during the investigation that the robber was a stranger to the victim as the robber took the information from a vegetable vendor and other people about old age people living alone in the area, said the official.

On the day of the incident, Shubra Singh was sitting outside her house. Soon a man parked his motorcycle in front of the house and straightway opened the gate and entered the house andtook out a sharp-edged knife and kept it on her neck.

He asked her to remove all the 14-gold bangles she was wearing. He took them and fled the spot.
