Deputy Commissioner Dr Priyanka Soni has urged farmers to upload information regarding their  land and crop sown on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal so that the government could launch schemes for their benefit. Besides the portal, they could   call at toll free number 1800-180-2060 in this connection.

She said that  by uploading  information on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal, farmers could get compensation for crop loss in natural calamities and would not have to make rounds of government offices.

Besides, farmers could also   get the facility to sell and purchase crops. They would also be able to get   subsidy on the purchase of fertilisers, seeds,   pesticides and farm machinery. She said that a farmer has to upload information about his name, address, Aadhaar card number, mobile phone number, ‘jamabandi’ of land with ‘khasra’ number, name of crop, time of sowing and details of bank account.

She said farmers would get  the complete information  on their mobile phones and   34,777 farmers had already uploaded their information  in the district till now. The farmers could take the help of the staff of the state marketing board and Atal Seva Kendras.
