Activists of the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Nurpur, took out Akrosh Rally today. State president of BJYM Vishal Chohan, MLA Rakesh Pathania, Indora MLA Manohar Dhiman, state BJP general secretary and vice president Rajiv Bhardwaj were also present on the occasion. The protest rally started from PWD rest house and culminated at combined office building.

The morcha submitted a memorandum addressed to Governor Acharya Devvrat to SDM in which it expressed strong resentment against the state government’s failure to fulfill promises made to unemployed youths in the state.

The morcha criticised the state government on its inept handling of Kotkhai rape and murder case.Meanwhile, the protest took an ugly after the police took away an effigy of CM Virbhadra Singh kept in a vehicle. Later, they again prepared an effigy of the CM and burnt it at the entrance of the Combine Office building.
