Addl CEO inspects EVMs in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur, February 21

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C today visited the town and inspected strong rooms where the EVMs of seven Assembly segments of Hoshiarpur have been kept. 

While AAP candidate Paramjit Sachdeva claimed that he had come to investigate his complaint regarding the administration's "non-seriousness" towards security of the strong rooms, Additional District Election Officer Iqbal Singh Sandhu claimed that it was a routine inspection.

After visiting Rayat and Bahra Educational Complex on the Chandigarh road and IKGPTU campus, Sibin C expressed satisfaction over security and other arrangements and directed the administration to gear up for the counting day.

Sachdeva claimed that the ACEO had come on a secret visit to review the security of strong rooms on the basis of their complaint, but Sandhu refuted the claim.
