Lakha thanks voters for support in Payal after win in elections

The Congress MLA from Payal, Lakhvir Singh Lakha, today organised a thanks giving Bhog in grain market, Payal, in which a large gathering was present.

In his address Lakha thanked the God and the people of his constituency. He said that ‘I will be thankful to all of you .I will always be there for your support and to address your issues’.

In address he said that he is able to become an MLA due to the expectations of people from him. While talking about early days, Lakha said he was from hand- to- mouth family and there was a time when he had no money and today he is representing people in the Punjab Assembly.

He assured the gathering that he would try to solve the problems of the poor and common people.

He stated that he will take up the matter of development and other problems on priority with the Chief Minister and will draw action plan to solve as soon as possible. He declared zero tolerance towards drugs and appealed the police and administration to take this matter seriously.

Khanna MLA Gurkirat Singh Kotli, former transport minister Tej Parkash Singh Kotli and Samrala MLA Amrik Singh Dhillon and some other local leaders of the Congress also addressed the gathering.
