Rs 20 lakh each for Sukma martyrs

SHIMLA: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today approved Rs 20 lakh each from Chief Minister’s Sainik Welfare Fund as ex-gratia grant to the next of the kin of martyr Sanjay Kumar of Chachian (Palampur) and Surender Kumar of Ner Chowk (Mandi).



Shimla, April 27

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today approved Rs 20 lakh each from Chief Minister’s Sainik Welfare Fund as ex-gratia grant to the next of the kin of martyr Sanjay Kumar of Chachian (Palampur) and Surender Kumar of Ner Chowk (Mandi). Both the deceased sacrificed their lives in the Naxal attack at Sukma in Chhattisgarh on Monday and were from CRPF 74 Battalion. — TNS
