Chandigarh Police arrest two women for theft of CCTV camera batteries

Chandigarh: Two women have been arrested for the theft of 16 batteries of CCTV cameras installed under the Smart City project. The suspects have been identified as Sector 25 residents Seema, 45, and Hasina, 36. On a complaint of BEL manager Vishal, two cases of theft were registered at the Sector 39 and Sector 36 police stations. The duo was nabbed from Sector 25 and the stolen batteries were recovered from their possession. TNS
