A park in Boileauganj that was damaged during the monsoon season has not been restored and remains in a poor state. Area residents are unable to visit the park as it is in ruins. The retaining wall that was damaged has not been fixed yet and its debris is still lying there. The authorities concerned should take necessary steps to restore the park.

Monkey menace continues to trouble people
Eating snacks while strolling at The Mall and Ridge has become impossible due to the monkey menace. Monkeys snatch food items and other belongings from tourists and locals at these places. If people try to scare them away, they turn aggressive. The monkeys prefer easy targets such as children and women and attack them. The authorities should take steps to curb the menace. Patients suffering due to delay in getting CT scan done
Patients have to wait for long to get a CT scan done at Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital in Shimla. Even the registered cancer patients dates a month away for tests. Patients have to endure a long wait to get the scan done, and the authorities must consider installing additional CT scan machines at the hospital. As the CT scan test is expensive, not everyone can afford it in the private facilities. The government should take steps to put an end to the patients' suffering. Rekha, Shimla
