Ludhiana, February 6
Five unidentified miscreants targeted two private employees who were waiting for their office bus on Monday morning. They snatched their mobiles and injured one of the victims.
The complainant, Abhay Kumar, of Sector 39, Chandigarh Road, said he and a girl, Suneha, were waiting for their company bus near Dental College Chowk around 6 am on Monday to go to their workplace. In the meantime, the miscreants on two motorcycles came and attacked him with a rod on his right hand. They snatched their mobiles. The injured youth was admitted to a private hospital.
A case has been registered. ASI Ajmer Singh is investigating the matter.
