Students of the school celebrated Lohri with gaiety and enthusiasm. Dances and melodious songs were presented by students and teachers as a part of the celebration. Students were attired in traditional dresses and were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The feeling of trance was brought by melodious ‘Sunder Munderiye’ and vivacious folk dance by students. The hallmark of the festival, lighting of the bonfire, did not only absorb and assimilate the feelings but also proved to be reconciliation that submerged into all present there. Popcorns and ‘rewaris’ were distributed among the students. School Principal Nancy Handa was very happy witnessing the spurring moments. She advised the students to live a life of truth and virtue as it would prove to be an upper hand in enduring a respectable life ahead.
