Mohali: The police have arrested two suspects with 4kg opium. An SUV was also recovered from their possession. The duo was nabbed during a blockade near the bus stand in Bhago Majra village on Friday. The suspects have been identified as Krishan Mandal (40), resident of Dharamsal near Sohana, and Mandeep Singh (27), resident of Mandi Kalan village in Bathinda, said the police. While Mandeep is a taxi driver, Mandal runs a service station, they said. A case has been registered against the two under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the Sohana police station.
