Panjab University (PU) Syndicate would take a call on giving extension to Dr Bhushan K Sharma, who has retired as principal of GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh. The meeting is lated for January 27.
He would be re-appointed on contract basis till the new principal is appointed.
SD College, Sector 32, had postponed the interview process for the post of principal on December 14, 2018. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Director, Higher Education (DHE), had also written to the college authorities to not conduct the interview and send any nominee for the recruitment.
