YAMUNANAGAR: The anganwari workers and helpers held a meeting here today in support of their long pending demands.

The anganwari workers and helpers held a meeting here today in support of their long pending demands.

Kunj Bhat, district president of the Anganwari Workers and Helpers Union, demanded they should be employed in government service and anganwari workers promoted to fill the vacant posts of supervisors. She also also demanded their monthly salary be released on time.

Bhat said anganwari workers and helpers will hold a state-wide rally in Karnal on November 28 to press the government for their demands.
