Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was a true son of Mother India, who paved the way for making India a very strong nation, Satya Pal Jain, former MP and Additional Solicitor General of India, said while addressing a gathering at Panjab University here today.
On the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary, Malik also inaugurated Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Reading Hall at the university.
Vice-chancellor Prof Raj Kumar, who presided over the function, said the works of Sardar Patel encouraged the young generation to work for making India stronger.
The ultra-modern, fully air conditioned reading hall, which was inaugurated today, can accommodate 75 students at a time.
